Using a Baby Wrap with a Toddler

Just a couple weeks ago, I received a wonderful gift from Renee at When 2 Became 3. She sent me a beautiful baby wrap that she made for me, and I've been experimenting with using it. I looked through a lot of videos on the internet on how to wear the wrap with a toddler. The most comfortable way I've tried wearing my son is by wearing him on my hip. But this morning I came across this video on youtube, and I can't wait to test it out.
I think my son will enjoy riding on my back more than on my hip because it's a nice perspective for enjoying the scenery. Besides, did you see how that cute little girl in the video seems so excited to hop up for a ride? That's what it's all about.

This may well be the perfect time for testing a new way to wear my little one. He's going through Cold #2, and he's not happy. Momma isn't too thrilled either. But at least his need for being carried and comforted will be a little easier on me this time! Now I can strap him on while I stir the chicken soup and (darn) take care of my own cold too.

By the way, Renee at When 2 Became 3 has just started selling her wraps at Wraps it Up, so hop on over and take a look!

I used the Maya Wrap sling. It was so convenient. I was constantly approached in stores by moms or grandmoms who wanted to know what it was. They wanted one for themselves.
